According to the FBI crime data, the easiest and most used way for a criminal to get into your house is just to kick in your door!

According to the Department of Justice crime statistics every 12 seconds a home is invaded by going right through the front or back door. This is called door frame failure. The hour between Two o’clock and Three o’clock in the afternoon is the biggest break-in time.

If you would, open your front and back doors and look at the dead bolt plate. There is just one inch of soft wood protecting the safety of your home – your door casings can not protect you from a thief kicking your door.

Betcha didn’t know that.

Thieves are counting on this.
